After a decade of working in magazines, Beth is ready to jump full puddle into illustration and writing.  In addition to writing and drawing in her studio, she is also an art educator teaching art and creativity and well, basically, LIFE, to middle schoolers.

Early art influences for Beth were Edward Gorey-remember the prone kerchief waving damsel in distress on the tombstone at the beginning of Masterpiece Theatre? (She does.) Simms Taback, Quentin Blake, Sempe, Nadine Bernard Wescott, Fernando Krahn, Roz Chast, and Ray Cruz, Ludwig Bemelmans, and Marc Brown to name a few.

Her favorite book growing up was The House With the Clock In Its Walls by John Bellairs, illustrated by Edward Gorey.

First place she went when she got her drivers license? The library, of course.

Beth has had the pleasure of working with......

Brain,Child Magazine; staff artist, art editor and cartoonist for 12 years.
